This is a frustrating experience. Why do you make it so hard to print a simple file

This year had to delete forms if I changed an entry just not working as good as it used to, have used turbo tax for the last 5 years but this is the last one.

experience has become more frustrating each year

TurboTax failed to download two items of tax free interest from Vanguard which caused me many problems. I then went back and double checked each item in the Vanguard download to make certain they were accurate. When I entered the two missed items manually, the program would not transfer the information properly to the California return and I was required to override certain line items to make the California return accurate. The overrides then became problems in order to e file which took a great deal of my time to get sorted out. Totally frustrating!!! I will probably use another program after using TurboTax for over 15 years
What's great about it: e filing feature
What's not so great: TurboTax is constantly trying t sell other services instead of making the program more user friendly

I downloaded the program so that I could do my taxes and my moms taxes. I paid by charge, but they charged us again at the end when we submitted the tax forms.
Also, the first time I tried to write a review, the page froze my computer up, I guess that's one way of not getting bad reviews.

Will never use again

I've used TurboTax for many years, but this will be the lost. In the early days I could use the program and have a good idea on how it was filling out the forms below. As the years went by the connection between EasyStep and the forms got further away. Today its to the point where the answers go into this black box and you have NO idea what is going on. For example, when you import tax information from a broker, or bank, there is no way to display this information to see it or check it. The data just "magically" gets to the forms it needs. Great when it works, but many times I have a need to change information, and good luck with that.
In the end it took far more time to figure and override TurboTax, than if I just figured out from scratch. I need a program that guides me through the forms, not one that tries to out-think me while at the same time using data from questions that are less than clear. In an effort to become "smart" TurboTax has gotten very annoying and dumb.
What's great about it: Better than doing it by hand
What's not so great: Getting around this program is cumbersome at best
