Simply Easy

We've been using Turbo Tax for 8 years and find that it's easy to understand what figures are needed. The step-by-step instructions help you remember everything, and maybe some things you didn't think of.
What's great about it: The steps are very well explained.
What's not so great: The entire page doesn't show on my monitor, I have to scroll down at each step to select "next"

Hard to be without.
What's great about it: Covers practically everything either via "talk through" or "find your own way"
What's not so great: This year the software often did NOT take me back to where I left when I returned to the task.

Quick, Easy, and Done

Used it for 15 years, ever since I was married.
Turbo Tax makes it very easy and understandable to a non-account person. It helps me maximize the refund on things I would not think I can deduct.

too many end questions

When the time comes to transmit returns it should be ready to go. Don't start asking for little fixes at that point or requiring an update that meant downloading the update, re-starting Turbo Tax and going through the filing process again. Take care of those things first.
What's great about it: I like the way Turbo Tax guides you through the process
What's not so great: Questions and updates at the point of submitting returns

Simple to Use and Fast!

Turbo Tax is an inexpensive, easy and reassuring way to get through one's tax filing in a short period of time. Clear step by step guidance and data entry made easier in subsequent years when the application brings forward applicable data from past returns. Everything gets into the right entry points, schedules and forms. The review process builds confidence that you've done everything correctly and the filing process is easy.
I've been using Turbo Tax for over a decade and it has never let me down. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: Clear language guidance and easy step by step process.
What's not so great: Occasionally counter-intuitive, particularly on state return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
