Works so well!

Turbo tax is so easy to use, and after one year of using it it is the only way to go. Sold stocks I've held onto for 13 years and even the capital gain was tiresome to have to enter 13 years of information but not bad. Could stand to do better with copy paste, I think. Well worth the money!
What's great about it: quick easy
What's not so great: didn't update sales tax until I ran thru the whole session again

I was disappointed in turbo tax this year

I have used turbo tax for many years - this year it seems to have quite a few problems. If I did not know what I was doing and just went along - your program would have messed me up in 4 or 5 places. I had to find my way around some things and go searching for a way to enter other things. It is great at doing the math and transfering the numbers to all the different forms, but you really have to check and make sure it is doing what it is supposed to do. I will probably keep using it - but I don't trust it the way I used to.
What's great about it: does all the math for you
What's not so great: has "glitches" you must watch out for

My CD in the Mac prevented me from filing but Jennifer in customer service saved the day. You make it too hard to file this review by taking up all the nicknames.

Completely Satisfied

2012 and earlier versions of Turbo Tax were much easier to work with. I found the current version more sensitive and included a form I did not wish to claim. It is also more difficult to pop in and out of sections. Overall, though, I will continue to use Turbo Tax and recommend it to family and friends.
What's great about it: Access to Turbo Tax specialists via phone for assistance.
What's not so great: For the first time, a form I did not claim became part of my federal return.

I would use it again next year it's easy to use.
What's great about it: Filling on line with assistance
What's not so great: cant go back to select different state once selected.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Painless Tax Return

I've been using TurboTax for many years now, and I can't imagine an easier way to file my taxes. It's a shame that a lot of younger people can't appreciate what Intuit has done. Anybody who has ever tried to fill out all of the forms manually (with a pen and calculator) knows what I'm talking about.
The Federal Government doesn't understand how to simplify the tax forms for lay people, but Intuit does!

Great Experience, First Time User!

First time user, felt comfortable, feel we were able to put in accurate information due to clear directions. Liked that we could go back and fix mistakes and that Turbo checked for them along the way and at the end. Appreciated having a hands on tool that really does lead you and give you confidence that you filed and won't be audited. For the price and peace of mind, we highly recommend this product!
What's great about it: Held my hand the whole way.
What's not so great: Had to look in every link to find where to put union dues on state.
