Turbo Tax is the best way to file taxes every single year!

Easy to use

Tried other tax soft wares and found TurboTax the best to use. User friendly and simple for normal taxes for some one with only W2 to report.
What's great about it: Detailed descriptions for help
What's not so great: The language could be simplified for a non finance guy to understand the tax code
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes went very easily this year, even though I was filing married for the first time. Thanks for making the process simple!
What's great about it: I liked being able to choose whether to walk through each step or skip ahead. I also like that Turbo checks for errors.

Each year the preparation questions are more complete and easier to comprehend. I actually enjoyed working with the product again this year.

Not as simple as you say it is. One problem: You never asked me whether I wanted to assign my refund to the current year's tax liability; there were several other little and major things that were difficult to understand.
What's not so great: Should have the 2106 and capital gains form in final form at the time of sale

More Refund Than Expected

Installing is simple. The disc does most of the work. Everything that was asked was easy to answer. The software allows stopping in the middle & comes right back to the stop where you left off. The e-filing process was a snap. I loved every minute of it. I really liked watching my refund go from negative to positive with each deduction.
What's great about it: The best part is the questions were simple
What's not so great: Should have started earlier
