I love this program I have used it forever but this time it would not let me file it kept updating!!! Ugh!!
What's great about it: Ease of input and use
What's not so great: To many updates

Great way to do my taxes every year because it captures 90 percent of of things I need from last year

For the first time this year I had something a little more complicated - 1000-LTC forms for my parents. The FAQs gave me way more information that I needed so I had to plow through answer after answer that had nothing to do with my question. I've had to get help from your staff in previous years and I don't remember it being as difficult to reach them.
I determined my parents' 1099 info did NOT have to be reported, but when I tried to correct it, I got in a loop where I kept coming back to the same pages. I finally figured it out (checking yes instead of no), but if I'd had to adjust the amount, I'd still be trapped in that loop.
I've always found Turbo Tax very easy to use in previous years and have recommended them to friends, but I've always had simple returns. If I have anything complicated again in the future, I may look elsewhere.
What's great about it: Being able to do it myself.
What's not so great: Finding answers

I have used TurboTax for a number of years and simply love it. I have recommended it to many friends. I like the easy format, the accuracy of the software, and the ease of using it. If you try it once you will be hooked for life. It's simply that good.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, accurate, and perfect for my use.

Since so many parts don't apply to me, the process felt most tedious. However, I sincerely understand why it must be. Happily I have a return to look forward to which makes it all worth while. Seriously thank you.

I HAVE USED TurboTax FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. I ALWAYS FIND IT VERY USER FRIENDLY. MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY IN 2013. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT HOW TO FILE. HOWEVER, THE PROGRAM WALKED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS. I AM HOPEFUL THAT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY SNAGS WITH THE IRS LATER.

It is easy to navigate and inexpensive, but sometimes hard to correct an entry done in error.
What's great about it: easy to manuever and understand, inexpensive
What's not so great: hard to go back and correct information if accidentally entered wrong
