I have been using TurboTax for 15 years and I trust it completely to get the job done.
What's great about it: Well organized, easy to follow and use, well done and gets better every year.

This years tax program was a little easier to use than last year's. It was seamless in it's operation which made doing the taxes more intuitive. I guess that's the point, Eh?

2013 Returns

This is a great program. I have been a customer for several years. The upgrades done through the years make this program easy, less time consuming and very thorough. It took me about 3 hours to file both Federal and State Returns this year. I look forward to being a customer for many years to come.

What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions covering all income and tax deduction possibilities
What's not so great: Wish that once your done with a section the page would move to continue at the bottom of the page. got tired of hitting

Big plus is that TTax calculates the taxable portion of social security income, which changes every year.
What's great about it: Data entry highlights last year's information, which speeds up the current year's data entry.
What's not so great: None

Excellent Tax Preparation Tools

The Deluxe edition walked me smoothly through the process of preparing and submitting taxes myself. I have been a TurboTax user for many years and the software seems to be more refined and simpler each year while retaining the similarities to previous products. Now with kids in college, I dreaded this year's preparation, but TurboTax guided me through the process in a matter of 150 minutes start to finish. Great job!
What's great about it: Straightforward, simplifies a complex function, reasonable cost
What's not so great: None I experienced

My taxes aren't very complicated this year, but they have sometimes been in past years. Turbo Tax walks me through unfamiliar territory in a logical way, enabling me to do it myself.
What's great about it: Easy to use, always appreciated.
What's not so great: I've had both State and Federal come back for additional amounts once or twice.
