Handling Social Security data input properly

In general, very good, except for the need to provide instruction for the handling Social Security data. (I had thought that last year's software automatically multiplied the monthly input by 12?
What's not so great: No instruction to multiply Social Security Monthly data by 12 to then input

Very Good Product

I had a problem and your phone service was excellent. Tracy quickly assessed the problem and knew how to clear up the situation and was most pleasant while she was correcting my problem.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Don't push Amazon

State Filing

I bought Turbo Deluxe (TD) for the purpose of E filing both state and federal. I have used TD every year and if I had known that I had to pay a filing fee for state tax then I would have searched for other programs prior to purchasing TD.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: I had to pay to file state taxes

Turbo Tax makes tax preparation very easy. Not enjoyable, but very easy.

TurboTax has worked for me for several years now, it has gotten better each year due to the improvements made to the program.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive, great transition from Federal to State return, did not take excessive time to work through.
What's not so great: Having to work through intervening sections after returning to a previous section to add data or make a correction.

What did we do before Turbotax?

I recommend this to everyone - it's an absolute gift to be so in control of one's own reporting. Our tax situation is fairly normal, so I cannot comment on how it would be for those with very complicated situations. Ours is complicated enough that without Turbotax we would be lost. The language is clear and the tips are helpful. We've been using the product for at least ten years and now our sons are using it too.
What's great about it: I love the step by step guide and the easy access to explanations; it's also great to be able to jump around the return.
What's not so great: It didn't seem to bring forward all of my previous years' information from previous returns

Filing Easy

Turbo tax is used each year for the entire family. We all enjoy doing the taxes with Turbo.. I just wish you could review the city and school district tax forms/questions so they can be accurate for filing. Then I would not have to go to town hall to file.
What's great about it: Filing Federal Return and even State Return good. Easy to follow steps.
What's not so great: Very difficult to file local city and school district taxes. You program is not up to date .
