since I am reducing my salary, but my investment income will be much higher in 2014, I want to review and revised my estimated payments for 2014. I cannot find it after several trials. I gave up, so I finally revised my estimated total income of 2014 upward by $ 200,000. hopefully the new calculation will be accurate.
I can find my state estimate tax payments easily after 3 searches.

would not e-fil one of my returns and would not give mailing instructions without hitting the print button (already have three unneeded copies).
tells me I need to make quarterly tax payments even though I get large refund every year….more then quarterly payments would add up to??????

e-file nightmare

It was impossible to find the Turbo Tax menu after i was prompted to do so when it said" validation failed needs update" while trying to e-file my returns. I had to print my returns so that I can mail them. I think I deserve a refund due to you are supposed to be able to e-file your Federal returns for free. Very disappointed.
What's not so great: Could not find the menu to update when I was prompted to do so.

taxes for a simple mind

Very easy to do. it walks you through with explanations and tells you what you can claim in your situation and what forms should be used . and it does it all for you , you just input the info. highly recommend because paying someone to do it is a waste of your money because they will do the same thing that you can and will charge you more. EASY!!!

Very easy to use, and no waiting to see how much you recieve or pay.
What's great about it: Dont pay $$$.$$ for CPA's
What's not so great: State Fees for E-file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Confused at times in the different insurances that can be claimed on the business expense and where the amounts go into the forms.
What's great about it: loved the specific questions
What's not so great: needs to be a little more specific in the breakdown of business expenses

I have used Turbo Tax since it came out. I feel very safe in using this software. I have never had any problems over the years. Thanks Turbo Tax!!
