civil service retirement

I had trouble with the civil service part of the 1099. It covers many of the retirement income circumstances but not for civil service. it's very difficult to work around to make it work.

I highly recommend TurboTax to anyone that does not have complicated (business returns) taxes. Great for people filing anywhere from short form to long form. You can't go wrong.

one but good

I didn't get a good answer on 1099R. My wife is in 70 1/2 age category. the tax guide says she needs to report figures. She receives from State of Alaska a pension.. Has no control of it. Needs to be better defined.
