What's great about it: DIDN'T TAKE ALL DAY
What's not so great: SOME QUESTIONS A LITTLE CONFUSING

TT always walks me through it step by step and I've never had a problem.

It really makes filling out tax forms easy. The only thing I would change is that I wish that there was a single worksheet that would list all of my charitable contributions. I type in all that info, but don't want to print out a page for every charity - not sure why it can't all be combined on one page, with a total at the bottom, for my records.
What's great about it: It's very easy to use. And starting your second year, all the data gets transferred over. Very time-saving.

Scared at entry, Happy at exit!

Clear process, step-by-step with an unusual return this year, yet was clear to understand and the step process, while taking some time continued to let me see my tax burden steadily decrease to a very manageable amount. The checks at the end of the return are excellent.
What's great about it: easy to use, clear and concise.
What's not so great: There should be something, can't think of what it might be though.

Overall, I have been very happy with turbo tax. Last year it was extremely helpful in dealing with my stock options sales. this year I didn't sell stock, but found it to equally effective in just normal tax filing

long term user of turbo tax-first year w/problems

overall have used turbo tax for many years and have been satisfied
this year I had difficulty e-filing federal
when I looked for answers after several attempts to correct, I was referred to community answers
initially annoyed, but unhappy to learn others having this difficulty too
it seems to happen only if you choose not to pay extra fee to have turbo tax e-file state return
have to wonder it this is a way to push users to pay additional fees

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now. They continue to stay on top of tax info and updates and make the consumer experience as friendly as possible considering we are dealing with the IRS. :)
What's great about it: Very thorough and streamlined
What's not so great: HSA area in dual locations can be confusing

Have used for almost 20 yrs - got brother, sister, and long-time friend hooked on it. Pretty good deal.
What's great about it: It's a time/money saver
