I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Find it easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: State refund involving part time resident in two states hard to use. Would not let me do both States without paying

Had to shut down to update several times

I had to shut down Turbo Tax & reopen it because the "file" "check for updates" button wasn't working. It also tried to transmit my returns three times, saying it needed to update, upon which I closed it down & reopened it, had to go back through the whole process of submitting. It took 20 minutes to submit after I had already finished it. That was very frustrating. Other than that, I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and am fairly happy with it. I usually run into 2-3 questions I don't know how to answer or are confusing, but that's even less than working with a CPA. So I'm happy with it.
What's great about it: Stayed at home, got a good refund
What's not so great: wouldn't update without closing it

I have been using Turbo tax for several years and will not pay anyone to do my personal taxes except Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to complete

Quick and Easy

TurboTax is a wonderful product. It is simple to use, but able to deal with complex cases as easy as simple 1040EZ filings. The guide program will help you find all the deductions, savings and tax breaks for all cases.
What's great about it: Great guidance to find all your deductions.

TurboTax Deluxe 2013

My tax situation is not complex. The question about the RMD for the TSP was new this year and I had no idea how to obtain the number wanted. I managed to get it from an advisor online.
The forms for my files were printed from the preview PDF as the saved PDF was nowhere to be found.
What's great about it: Only took 4 hours
What's not so great: Saved PDF could not be found to print from

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe to file my personal taxes for several years. I love that I can start and complete my filing in one sitting.
What's great about it: Easy to use, self explanatory
What's not so great: Has areas not applicable to me
