Changes hurt the product

TT seems to be hiding/removing features from previous versions. It was very hard to figure out where Schedule C went, in previous years, it took me straight to it. For some reason, it did not this year.
What's great about it: Similar to years past
What's not so great: Schedule C did not pop up the first time I went through..

Easiest filing ever ... even with a new 1099MISC "royalty" entry. The "Help" note differentiating 1099MISC "Rents & Royalties" from 1099MISC "Other Income" royalties was a lifesaver! Thanks!
What's great about it: The "Help" tips get better every year.
What's not so great: The small area pop-up windows in the "Review" process could be larger.

I Like the program an the fact you can pull in 1099 info,
We do not have a state income tax. I would like to tell the program up front that we don't so they don't keep trying to have me fill it out.
What's great about it: Step by step input or enter it on your own
What's not so great: Answers to question don't stay checked when you go back to make a small change

Foreign accounts
on March 14, 2014

There are many foreigners living in the US that have to fill out these forms properly. The IRS changes these forms yearly. TurboTax should make the explanations clearer on custodial, versus deposit accounts, show what you submitted last year first, not half way through you filling out additional account information, and make clearer what goes where. On my daughters and my tax form I entered the forms as required and both times it missed putting in Canada as the location of the foreign account but was picked up in the error checking. My recommendation is to make this section as clear as the rest of the TurboTax program. I am not comfortable with the new efile FBAR reports and that part is not even on the TurboTax forms or for filing. The "release of information" about your spouse so that you can do her FBAR is even more tricky as it isn't on the submitted form. Again TurboTax should prompt people on how to do this properly.
What's great about it: Forms are there
What's not so great: Very difficult to fill out properly
