Sooo Easy!

This is the fourth year I've used Turbo Tax, and I would never go back to doing my taxes by hand. The program "talks" to you in clear, specific language, so it's very easy to understand. There are also links to additional information should you need it. One of my favorite features is that the program keeps track of what you've completed so you don't have to. Coordination between federal and state returns is smooth and hassle-free. Also, now that I know what the program expects in the way of information from me, it's easier for me to collect that information through the next year.
What's great about it: The program walks you through everything and is very easy to understand.
What's not so great: Can't think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax needs to make asking questions easier and answer quicker.
What's great about it: Easy to enter information.
What's not so great: Tough to finish filing if you get questions from Intuit.

Your really have a great product. All those quick Tax services promise to do better. How can you trust a place when they get someone to dress up in an ape suit or the Statue Of Liberty to get you to walk in? Turbo Tax Rocks!
What's great about it: Fast and efficient
What's not so great: Some explainations were not as clear. Explaining of getting income entered from cashing in 401 K

Turbo Tax is dependable and affordable. It is generally a fail safe approach to doing your own taxes. The interface is intuitive and the questions are thorough, with adequate help and explanatory notes throughout the process. I appreciate the user community help forum for some of the more complex questions. I will note, however that I received a $196 refund from the IRS on my penalty for failure to pay estimated taxes in 2012, which lowered my trust of f Turbo Tax to some degree. And after two years, I'm still looking for a better "workaround" for the double entry potential on the sale of limited partnerships, where the broker reports it on the 1099-B and the partnership reports it on the K-1.
Unless a worthy competitor comes forward and/or I get another IRS flag (even the penalty refund is a glitch), I will likely stay loyal to Turbo Tax after 9 years of use.
What's great about it: Comprehensive interview is reassuring that no stone is left unturned
What's not so great: There's a glitch in the handling of Limited Partnerships and their sales.

I have using turbo tax for years and just it keeps getting easier and easier. This product is accurate and has a audit company to backup its product. You can go wrong.

So easy to use!

I've been using Turbo Tax Deluxe now for more than 10 years and it just gets better and better. It just amazes me that folks will travel to a tax prep firm, sometimes sit there for who knows how long while their taxes are done by others rather than fill out this simple program on their own. It's so simple a ten year old could do it.
What's great about it: Done in an hour and a half
What's not so great: Absolutely none!

Intuitive and REAL people too!

In addition to the above brief comments, when I had the download glitches (2) the individual/s I spoke with knew their stuff and my Mac and stayed with me until the situation/s were resolved. Pleasant, patient and knowledgable !
What's great about it: Very detailed and easy to understand.
