A few issues

Errors on my Kentucky state form M line 1-SP apparently due to a glitch when filing seperately on a joint return. Guidance to correct the problem was non-existent.
When prining a file copy of my return garbage printed out twice. The printing started fine but after a few pages it turned to nonsense. Finally had to print it in small sections.
What's great about it: Federal form was relatively easy & well documented
What's not so great: State form documentation & guides were non-existent or useless. Printing is a problem.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

There were two things I didn't like. On almost every page you have to scroll down to hit the next button. The other is that when my wife was working she was able to exclude part of her income from Federal Income Tax for housing expenses because she was a Minister of Religion. Now that she's retired a portion of here pension is also supposed to be excluded for the same reason however I couldn't find a way to do that in Turbo Tax when inputting her 1099R.

Turbo Tax Info

All in all the Turbo tax worked as well as it has in the past. I/we have filed via Turbo tax for quite a few years.
What's great about it: Most everything was straight forward and questions were easy to understand.
What's not so great: The education area gave me a little trouble. I answered yes to one question and had trouble going back and changing it.

I do recommend Turbo Tax to all my friends. it is very user friendly, and you don't have to be an accountant to be able to use it.
What's great about it: All calculations are done for me
What's not so great: Not easy to get answers to questions that aren't typical

Excellent Tool

I was not looking forward to this years tax preparation as I had started a business and had no idea how to handle this. Turbo Tax handled everything with ease I got done in no time and made all the deadlines that the feds love to impose.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and follow!

Love Doing My Taxes!

I enjoy doing my Taxes with TurboTax. It takes me step-by-step through through data entry and form completion. I can lay out my data and just input it as it is required. Helps me organize my information for the coming year. No calculators, no spreadsheets, just input the data when needed. I also love the e-file: I receive my refunds quicker and don't need to print all the forms and supporting documents. Thanks TurboTax!
What's great about it: Complete, Integrated, Step-By-Step, Review for Omissions/Errors
What's not so great: Sometimes seems too detailed, but may be Code Based.
