Great until..............

All through the process of filing my 2013 income tax, I kept thinking that you had done several things to make the process even easier to live with. Then at the very end two disasters:
1. Wanted to pay for filing state tax and although I have had an account with you for quite a few years, it rejected my password which I had written down. I used your procedure to change password six [that is true 6] times before I could get it to work. Your office was closed by this time.
2.After filing, you suggested with some confusion that I needed to mail in a copy. Hopefully that was an error because I haven't.
Despite these problems, I'll use you again and hope these are not repeated nor replaced with others as bad.

Turbo Tax is the easiest to use in my humble opinion.
What's great about it: Guided me through it step by step

In the end they got filed

I spent extra hours due to the difficulty I had with the program. For some reason when I went back to edit it told me I had to amend my return. It had not been efiled yet. Not sure what happened but took hours on two separate days to resolve. The techs were great and very patient with me.
What's great about it: Since my taxes are cut and dry, makes it easier to do my own at home verses having to make an appt and meet with someon
What's not so great: Had difficulty with the program I originally downloaded

I like that most of the questions were asked on your federal taxes so filling in the state taxes goes by really quickly.
What's great about it: Fast
What's not so great: Did not always have help for state taxes

Makes it fairly easy

I got a new computer and transfer all my turbo tax info but the program acted sometimes like it wasn't there and then it was there. I Have windows 8.1. Maybe that's the problem.
The worst thing was it took way too long to download all the updates and I could not figure out why? I have used Turbo Tax since 2004 and will keep using it but either it or I have a problem. It was hard to pay for the state e-file too. I kept having to go back over the pay part and I never have had to before.

Fix -clarify instructions for next tax year covering above issue
What's great about it: okay if you have certain register pension plans
What's not so great: Very poor instructions as to how to enter payments to U.S. citizens from Canada Pension Plan
