this year's form

I like previous years form better because it gave me more opportunities to interact. It seems like this year 's form went directly into the items without explaining the reasons.
What's great about it: fast and seemly accurate
What's not so great: less explanations given to the user. It did not save the changes automatically.

Each time you get out of the program it is very slow to get back into where you left off. Once you are in turbo tax it works great, the only problem was on how slow it was to load.
What's great about it: Once you get into turbo tax it is easy to follow.
What's not so great: Too slow loading.

Have used Turbo Tax for nearly 25 years and it gets better each year. easy to use and easy to file both federal and State returns. Carry over from previous year makes it easy to insure you include everything that is needed.
What's great about it: Easy to use and file
What's not so great: nothing

Went through all the error checking -- no problems. Went to file federal and NY state. Would not file state because it said thetax with held was greater than the Gross distribution. This was not true. Rentered both numbers in case there was an unprintable character but it still did not work.
What's not so great: Could not file state return because of bug in program.

2013 Turbo Tax Review

I feel like you have a stellar product and the auto fill makes it one reason I keep coming back again. The sales tax portion was a little confusing because it only showed a credit after I did software updates.
What's great about it: Federal Tax Review, ease of filing, auto-fill from last year
What's not so great: It was not clear what or where to include escrow payments; the sales tax thing was a little confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

used for several years-don't know if it's the best but it works for me and IRS, so far, has never hounded me-why would I change now?
What's great about it: intuitive
What's not so great: none worth mentioning
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I completed my returns in less than 2 hours, and got a nice refund, I've used turbotax every year it has been published (with one bad year I tried a "professional" organization.
What's great about it: simple, virtually foolproof
What's not so great: Had to look up more forms this year.
