payment when filing by efile

filing by e-file does not allow paying by personal checl as it did last year. Only options are credit card or bank account debit

The only thing I didn't like is that I had to go to forms to delete a worksheet and/or form as apposed to deleting the information during the process at the point that the information was requested. The program doesn't allow getting rid of the information and may confuse some people. I knew to delete the form/worksheet and therefore continue my work without further annoyance..
What's great about it: Everything except one item
What's not so great: Deleting additional form

Taxes simplified

I've used TurboTax for many years and it has improved over those years. Easy to follow and well organized. The ability to download from source has improved markedly over the years. A few things have either not progressed or have regressed. Explanations are cut and dried IRS material, often not very helpful. No parallel calculations seem to be going on; you have to go back and alter data and/or re-enter.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Downloads well organized.
What's not so great: AMT alternatives clumsy. Explanations so-so.

Better than expected

I have used Turbo Tax for years and it always performs like a pro. Results will keep me a loyal customer. Each year seems to get better.
What's great about it: Walked me through all the way; very easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: got a tax bill last year that said i owed an additional $28.00,what happened

Federal and state forms could be overwhelming, but Turbo Tax helped me complete them step by step in a logical sequence; and provided guidance and answers to any of my questions. I have used Turbo Tax for over four years, and will continue in the future
