Lots of defect in the software

I have used Turbo Tax (TT) for many years. This was the first really bad experience. The software (install on MAC) had many errors. It imported wrong dollar amount form ItsDeductible, presented some screens out of flow, got confused if you did not use the basic expected flow, and finally failed to file my e-Return even after it charged me on my credit card! I finally had to restart the TT application and then it worked.
This experience has shaken my confidence in TT and I am not so sure if I will use it next year. Tax documents are important and if this software is unreliable it would not be Intuit's but my personal liability for any information that gets messed up by Intuit.
What's great about it: One place to input all tax related info
What's not so great: Unreliable software with many defects

Fast, effective and to the point. The only downside is the additional cost for the second state if you live in one and work in another.
What's great about it: The ease of the walk-through
What's not so great: every now and then you hit a snag with an unexplained code
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fast & Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2004. Before that I always struggled with completing my Tax return. What a difference Turbo Tax has made.
What's great about it: I like how Turbo Tax brings forward pertinent information from the previous year. A real time saver.
What's not so great: Have none.

Completed my taxes fast !

Good software, reasonably easy process when everything is fine.
But the minute there is a problem, like a correction needs to be made or a form needs to be deleted, the steps to do that are not self-explanatory. One needs to look for some tricks to delete the information.

What's great about it: Fast preparation, reasonably self-explanatory
What's not so great: Fixing or deleting forms that were started but later found to be unnecessary or needed to be corrected was a nightmare

it gets easier each year

I have been a user of TT since 1998, never had an problems or issues it has made this process an enjoyable endeavor and I most certainly will continue to use TT Deluxe
What's great about it: limited amount of imput all info from 2012 transfered
What's not so great: nothing

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 3 years and it is super. Easy to use, transfers from one year to another. AWESOME!!!
