TT actually shows you what different types of deductions and credits are available. Wow...tax credits for neighborhood investment and trench digging. Take a look when you go step-by-step through the different deductions and credits. Who knew!
What's great about it: So easy. Actually helps you understand tax law.

I liked the way it kept last years information on the contributions so I didn't have to look up addresses and other information

We have used Turbo Tax for many years, and have never been disappointed in the quality, details and the ease of use. We have saved hundreds of dollars in tax services. You can use Turbo Tax anytime, and in the privacy of your own home. I have recommend the Turbo Tax to all my friends and family.
What's great about it: Easy, dependable, reputable, saves money
What's not so great: cannot think of any

I have used Turbotax for many years and it works great for me. I like having the step-by-step method to ensure I don't miss something and I like the forms method for confirmation. I figure that if I do the process with the two different methods and still get the same answer them it is likely correct.
What's great about it: Imports info from prior years & asks the right questions
What's not so great: Entry a bit tricky-entering a number and it switches to a list

The Best Yet

Cleanest and easiest version yet. Except for the con above please don't mess with the 2014 version any more than is forced by changes in the tax code.
What's great about it: The way item donations are handled along with cash donations was a great improvement.
What's not so great: Pension benefits being qualified or non-qualified was confusing. RMD has nothing to do with defined benefit pensions.
