easy to do

Very easy to do, seemed a little more time consuming this year. Love the audit risk scale.
What's great about it: do at home helps to know what may be allowable the next tax year
What's not so great: too many questions this year even if you dont have anything to report.

Love intuit and TurboTax

TurboTax always teaches me what I need to know, and helps me learn how to best achieve my ultimate refund (or minimize my payment to the government!)
What's great about it: Always impressed with ease and results
What's not so great: I still have to pay taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Try Turbotax!

First time using it and I think it went well. It was very fast and saved me lots of time because it transfers all of your info from the IRS to state forms. The printing option took time to decide what I really needed to keep in paper copy and to mail. It also has very cheerful guidelines. I will definitely use it again next year!
What's great about it: Very fast
What's not so great: Lots of reading and takes time to print out what you really need

TurboTax is great, even if imporvements are needed

I have used TurboTax for many years simply because it is easy to use and I prefer to do my own taxes rather than turn it over to someone else. TurboTax helps you to not overlook tax issues.
On the frustrating side, it sometimes is hard to find the source figures or calculations that result in final figures. I will see a figure and wonder where that came from and find it difficult to find the source figures or calculations.
It is better this year, but it could still be improved.

Bottom line is, I would not use anything else.
What's great about it: easy to use, can easily enter data myself rather than using guide
What's not so great: sometimes hard to find source of information in final figures

thanks for refund when I thought I would be paying

I have used Turbo tax for over 8 years and even my tax consultant can't get a better refund.
What's great about it: no calculations just answer the questions
What's not so great: paying for state e-filing

Saved me from debt!

I don't think it has anything to do with Turbo Tax but separating radiology bills, labs and hospital doctor fees is ridiculous - a total is a total as I see it.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions
What's not so great: Medical bill totals
