No state income tax in Florida

Towards the end of the exercise, the program repeatedly asks for us to complete our state taxes, even though we have the federal only tax edition. This is not a monumental programming effort. If we don't need to file a state return -- stop asking.
What's great about it: Definately the way to "do" our taxes
What's not so great: Florida has no State income tax - stop nagging

I have used Turbo Tax for 7 years and appreciate how it leads you through the process. With the complexity of the U.S. tax code, I have severe doubts I could do this on my own and get the most refund, and no make mistakes.

Overall Turbo Tax made my tax filing easy. However, there is on small item that would make filing my charitable contribution easier if another category item is added, such as FOOD contributions since I purchase food for our church cupboard for distribution to the needy. Thanks

Confusing State of Minnesota

Need to make out a Minnesota State form, calculate difference and then re-enter on the original Federal; directions confusing and I hope that I followed them correctly. Spent several extra hours reading and doing these maneuvers to "understand" the directions.
What's great about it: Federal straight forward
What's not so great: Recalculate, keep extra file, re-enter

Everyone who has helped us (and we've made a lot of phone calls this year, becuase we had to fill out a lot of extra new forms that were unfamiliar to us), has been kind, courteous, effecient, knowledgeable and patient. Thank you Turbo Tax. You're the best!

Makes it so easy

TurboTax is super easy to use and examines all possible avenues for refund. It makes sure you follow the tax laws. It's great! I would not be able to do my own taxes without TurboTax!

If Turbo Tax gets much more expensive I'll consider another means to file.
