Quick and Easy

I like how I only have to answer questions. All the hard lookup tables and confusion is taken care of by the software.

Might be overkill for a very simple return but if you own a home and itemize your deductions it is worth the time and effort to answer all the questions and pay only what you owe. Easy to use, can start and stop and makes nice paperless records.
What's great about it: The software will take you step by step through the tax return
What's not so great: Taxes still require a lot of prep getting documents together but Turbo tax asks you the right questions

For those who believe they can do their own taxes and wants to save $100s by hiring an official tax person - this is the program for you. Really, if you can READ, follow instructions, and have all your paperwork, you can do your own taxes.
What's great about it: simple questions
What's not so great: did not show me detailed "review" as past years

Taxes made easy.

This year I had some problems for the first time. I sent in a question and found that it disappears into the question black hole. There are no instructions for ever finding the answer, without possibly previewing thousand of questions. You should get a question number; then later be able to query that number to see if there are any answers.
What's great about it: Always easy to get this done.
What's not so great: Don't like the help much.

Been using Turbo-Tax Deluxe for a number of years and will continue in the future. Makes filing very easy and trust accuracy of the return
What's great about it: Ease of data entry and info carry-over from previous year
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Notes carried forward

I would like to be able to put comments on pages so I can note where I get some figures from, what folder I have them in, etc. and other notes that might help me next year.
You currently allow flagged notes but they must be removed before filling. I would like another note that would carry forward to next year.

in past turbo tax would make comparisons in the review to national averages - would like to see that info put back in for next year.
help boxes seemed more general/vague when trying to read about certain tax info.. would prefer more details in the help boxes to learn more about tax codes/procedures.

Survey fussy about nicknames
What's great about it: Handles federal return very efficiently, imports all previous year data
What's not so great: State program would not allow me to edit "bottom line" data without going to forms
