Awesome tool

Yet another year comes around and we have these things called Taxes to do. Turbo Tax has been my choice for the past 14 years and have never been let down. This is an excellent tool to use to do my, and my children's taxes.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to understand

1040 By Myself

The step by step guidance makes filling in the 1040 form much easier than working with the paper and calculations. Importing the W-2 and banking information saves time and is accurate. After finishing all of the steps, I can review the actual 1040 form to be sure all looks correct. e-filing is convenient and in past years my refund was deposited much faster than the old snail mail. My taxes are done!
What's great about it: Easy step by step and importing W-2
What's not so great: Pricing items donated to charity is awkward, but works

Easy & Accurate

Easy to install, easy (mostly) to use. The program does a great job of checking & re-checking to make certain every possible deduction and/or credit that is available has been utilized. The only real problem I experienced is that some of the questions are confusing AFTER reading the explanations. The question is simple enough, but after reading the explanation you are not sure if you should answer yes or no. But it is a great program and got us an excellent refund from both Feds & State!
What's great about it: Very easy to use and (mostly) easy to understand
What's not so great: Some of the questions seem a little ambiguous and require very careful reading to answer correctly

TurboTax made doing our returns almost fun - rather like working a crossword puzzle. I used to pay an accountant big bucks but I still had to assemble all of the data. Once the information is in order, TurboTax takes over. Thanks!
What's great about it: Easy to go back and forth and check entries

2013 Turbo Tax

It took for ever to load the application even after doing the software updates, not sure what the problem was with this year's version.
What's great about it: Ease of use

Great Tax Program

Have used Turbo Tax and Quicken since Quicken was a check writing free program. You need to have a discount for repeat users. Intuit never gives a price break to repeat customers!! Someday you will start lose business because you do not take care of your customer base!!
