Works like it should

Turbo Tax calculated everything correctly. We thought Turbo Tax had made an error. After checking with tax experts and the state of PA, Turbo Tax was correct.
It has not failed us and we will use it again. Our taxes are probably slightly more complicated than most and we used Turbo Tax Deluxe without problem.

What's great about it: Straightforward, accurate and simple
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy to follow , allowed to do two filings in one night

Deluxe Edition... Federal program worked great...then TurboTax would not download State Return. It kept looping through commands. We called Help Desk- Tech Support and after about an hour we did a manual download. All was well until we tried to E-File Federal Return. Again it would not download needed software. Again Tech Support helped us for over an hour. Finally we were able to E-File our return by manually downloading the update. I must say Tech support was very helpful, but it would have been nice not to have needed them. We are both literate with tax and computer issues. All of our problems were software issues out of our control. That was frustrating. If not for that, TurboTax would get a thumbs up!
What's great about it: general accuracy of program

What's great about it: BRINGS UP LAST YEARS INFO FOR USE
What's not so great: NO LONGER CAN WE CALL TURBO TAX WITH QUESTIONS, WE HAVE TO ASK A QUESTION AND THEN YOU SHOW ANSWERS TO SIMILAR QUESTIONS

I have used TurboTax for years. I like the easy question method and the automatic import features; such as pulling from your previous return.
Always recommend to whoever will listen at tax time.
What's great about it: Just answer questions
What's not so great: A little tricky to load this year

overall good I just felt there should have been more instructions and clarification for married filing separate returns.
What's great about it: easy fliling
What's not so great: my husband and I had to file separate and it was confusing

I've used Turbo Tax for years and I will use it for many more years. But I got frustrated when I came back to finish my State return that I had to send my Federal (which I had already sent) along with it. It never gave me an opportunity to send Sate in by itself.
What's great about it: Easy to use if you do it all in one sitting
What's not so great: problems sending State online when I didn't finish at time I did Federal.
