Doesn't handle all the State Information

A better handling of the state forms would be very helpful.
Won't be necessary for me next year as there will be no state requirement to file a return.

What's great about it: turbo tax saves a lot of manuel labor. I used to do AARP taxes as volunteer and this is a better program.
What's not so great: When transfering the federal data to the state form some of the data you have to type in is acutally in the federal form

overall it was fine. I had a difficult time finding some of the answers I was seeking for certain tax situations but i found what i needed.

Overall is a good product.
I worked on loading the software for over 8 hrs on my PC.
Continual error message regarding a problem with .Net framework . I reloaded .net framework , updated xp retried the load sat there an hour at a time just be told oops theres a problem wit .Net frame work , wait while we fix the problem... again re loaded it yet again hour later same message. Went to Turbo-tax help .... no help said to do what I had done 10 times already. After doing the same thing on my lap top (also XP) finally got loaded. After that it work's as usual. Been using Turbo Tax for years.

very happy but was expecting more from the nonresident earner portion.
What's great about it: quick and easy. held my hand and led the way.
What's not so great: difficulty with nonresident earner dividends. my main reason for using turbotax

I am 81 years old and have been filing with Turbo Tax for several years. Easy to enter and helpful answers when needed. What more could I ask!!

2014 Tax Return

AMT section could be explained better. I always find it confusing.
If my income is too high to get a deduction or credit, don't ask me to fill in the details. An example is the tuition credit. I spent time answering these questions but I make too much to get this credit. In the future it would be nice if you tell me that in advance so I don't waste my time.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: AMT is still very confusing to follow; go through many details in some sections to find out I make too much

it's the best tax package I've found, though I'll admit I've only tried one other -- what tends to annoy me is that, although I've been a TurboTax user for about 10 years, every year it seems to find something new to confuse me -- this year, although it generally accepts no entry as a $0 value, I had to enter $0 for box 1a on a couple of 1099-DIV forms to keep it from flagging an error
What's great about it: for the most part, it's very easy to use
What's not so great: we keep our own records of cash charitable contributions, don't like that TurboTax wants me to re-enter all that info
