Took four days because of the terrible instruction

your section on handling CSAS1099R, is not at all easy to follow and your instuctions are the worst I've seen in 10 years of using your sevice. I am very doutful that I will use this serevice again.

Some confusion with State

Overall: Excellent. Handles complicated investment activities easily with downloads from brokerage sites. When completing and filing my federal, TT asked if I also wanted to eFile my state taxes. This implied that the federal activity had been enough to complete my state without any input from me at all. However, when I went to my state option and started work on my state, it indicated that it was not done, and did I want to continue with my state - which I did. I found that there were several items that needed answers before my state was completed. Suggestion: do not ask if I want to file state at same time as Fed...indicate "do you want to start state now." If I had selected simultaneous filing, TT may have indicated that the state was not yet completed. I don't know.
What's great about it: Easy, full-function, handles multiple investment with downloads
What's not so great: Slight confusion Federal-to-State

Turbo Tax Customer Service Help was AWESOME

I was so confused on installing my Turbo Tax for Mac and was having problems with the initial program. I called Customer Service and spoke to Matthew - he was awesome. He guided me through reinstallation and was on line with me for over one hour. I am such a dumbbell - he was so congenial and guided me straight through all my problems with such ease. CUSTOMER SERVICE GREATEST.
What's great about it: CUSTOMER SUPPORT
What's not so great: I was the dummy

Good but could be better

There were areas that were confusing because there was not enough clarity to the questions being asked. Software completion should be tested by a NON-ACCOUNTANT to ensure ease of completion.
What's great about it: Generally easy to use
What's not so great: Some areas not clear to the non-accountant

Filing Made Easy

After using for a number of years, I have found that doing my taxes are not as scary as I thought it would be. Love the fact that my refund is deposited in my checking account within two weeks.
What's great about it: Just need to follow the on screen instructions
What's not so great: Remembering to pull all the information together before you begin

My life was made so much easier

I was able to sit down in 2 sessions and complete both the State and Federal forms with no issues whatsoever. The review showed my one error which I was able to resolve fairly quickly and the review was fast and accurate. The added features this year were welcomed and the analysis along the way really made my job easier.
What's great about it: Review of all forms, the 5 year side-by-side analysis and the ease of use
What's not so great: The 1099 form was a little confusing with long term vs. short term, but it was very minute
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
