I have always found Turbo Tax to be an easy step guide to preparing my Federal/State income tax informaiton.

This is my 2nd yr using Turbotax deluxe. This year it was easier since my info was transported. I would recommend this to anyone who had never tried preparing their own taxes. In years past I always used a CPA to prepare my taxes. Thank you.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, transporting info from previous year.
What's not so great: Several times I notice questions asked and they were not answered?

additional states cost to much

I've always like the user interface its easy to use. the help could be more precise tax law documents are typically large and can read in stereo...so sometimes finding the subsection of a subsection is difficult. secondary state purchases are costly like buying the program all over again. In my case, I didn't even make enough to warrant the second purchase and just did a paper form.

Hope next year will be easier

I like Turbo Tax. We have filed taxes with them since 2011. However, each year when we start to file, the program says there is no previous tax information and we have to load it ALL.
I buy a disc where ever I find it cheapest so may be that's the prob.
I'm pretty computer savy, but I find myself becoming frustrated easily because it's hard to find my way around. Others have told me Turbo Tax is VERY easy so I must be doing something wrong.
I'll use the program again next year and hope it is easy.

What's great about it: Love typing in forms rather than writing it out
What's not so great: Help sections should open in a new window or tab so it's easier to find your way back to where you left off.

I liked the choice of being able to choose the more detailed instructions so I didn't miss any deductions. Very good process!!!

On the Oregon Tax, the entry for Medical and Dentist need an explanation. What does medical include. Add place to explain.
Was easier to use the year.
What's great about it: Was easy to use and could find answers to questions easily.
What's not so great: could not log into my account even after I got a pin number to change my password. Trie to call for help. Not very good

LOVE This Program!

I would recommend this program to anyone who doesn't need an accountant. The steps are easy to follow and it doesn't take days to gather and file the information. It literally took me about 2 1/2 hours to do & file my taxes, both federal and state! How great is that?!?
What's great about it: I love that I can do this from the convenience of my home. It walks me through everything and it's easy to follow!
What's not so great: Was a little unclear about the HDHP
