Will not purchase again, think much better products out there and the cost without state is not comparable.

Great but wish it included 1 free state

I've always liked Turbo Tax, the only comment I can make negative is that I wish it included 1 free state E-file. I'm pretty sure most folks only deal with one state so why make it more difficult to have to separately deal with state filing & it's associated charges,
What's great about it: Easy to use seems fool proof
What's not so great: Wish it included 1 state free so one doesn't have to go through all the extra stuff

Some Very Nice Features

I had a problem with rounding in the estimated tax payment section. Paid an amount with $xxx.50, and software rounded up for each quarter and as a result amount shown as paid was $2.00 more than I actually paid to IRS.
I had to do two states this year so had a new state form to explore. I found that some of the buttons I checked and then had to recheck did not keep the rechecked value unless I closed Turbo Tax, saved the form and then re-opended Turbo Tax. It was a bit frustrating.
Overall though a really good product.

What's great about it: Product has improved in terms of flexibility of use.
What's not so great: Some values do not seem to "stay" when changed.

not clear on if a person can claim homestead in MI if not residing in own home or if renting. it only said a full time resident. not clear. also with limited vision hard to read all the light gray boxes and light colors
What's great about it: easy to follow directions
What's not so great: city and state had to retype w2 info several times

E-filing federal and not e-filing state (because of cost) is confusing. The program does not want to let go of e-filing state return.
I was not sure when my federal return was filed or if it was. Also, the signature routine is hard to follow.

What's great about it: Easy to use- nice to not have to worry about mathematical or mechanical errors.
What's not so great: Pop ups showing Turbo tax people and their experience are annoying- also thereshould be a way of avoiding the recurr
