I thought it was OK until my wife's return

I am stuck in a loop trying to make the software deal with my spouse's state return. Never mind why -- it just keeps taking me back to federal and refusing to let me get to e-filing the state form. It would take less time to fill it out by hand, which is what I guess I will have to do. Stupid stupid stupid.

What's great about it: Being able to transfer returns to next year, and efiling
What's not so great: ? on dual state tax returns was slightly confusing

It gets worse

Getting worse every year, I have the same tax situation for the last 7 years, however the software doesn't ask all the questions as previously, poor quality, wether it the tax software or the taxing authority , I don't know, but I shouldn't have to go back and enter stuff it should of seen from previous years. Extremely disappointed. I will finally try a different software next year, been with turbo tax since the start of it, seems sad. But it takes a lot to disappoint a long time user

FANTASTIC refund!!

I will continue using TurboTax and will always recommend others to use it!!
What's great about it: Filing was extremely easy, and the software is very user friendly!
What's not so great: None!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

For my case (rather simple 1040 - married w/ kids) it was great. Iv'e been using turbotax for 6 years.
For my NYS return, there were too many forms not supported. Needed to research to see if various credits or taxes applied to me. This is a function of NYS (can't say how it compares to other states). Turbotax also stated that you wouldn't be able to e-file with turbotax if you needed to file some of these additional forms. Would be disappointing to find out after that fact that you still have to finish your tax filing and file manually.
What's great about it: Simple and quick
What's not so great: For NYS, too many forms not supported.

Turbotax 2013 MAC

In general a good product. I have used Turbotax for many years. Three items to be improved:
1. AMT is handled poorly. Very labor intensive to determine if a state refund from previous year is taxable or not.
2. State (MA) health insurance information needs to be entered twice (once for myself and once for spouse) even though we are on same insurance.
3. The MAC version doesn't remember where in interview you left off. The previously entered data is there, but have to manually jump to correct page.
