Quick and Easy Taxes

I previously worked for a CPA and always did my taxes there; but having moved to another industry, I have once again used Turbo Tax to prepare my taxes for the past 6 years. I always feel confident using Turbo Tax because they walk through a series of questions that make sure I don’t forget anything. I also feel confident knowing that the software captures all the annual changes in tax laws so I don’t have to spend my free time studying these changes prior to filing my taxes!
What's great about it: I love the simple and thorough walk through
What's not so great: Only downside would be if you have extermely complicated finances

W-2 received today - All Done .... again

Each year I am able to file my returns as soon as I receive my W-2! Turbo tax is available in such a manner that all of the details can be preloaded and then verified with the final W-2. Easy instructions and assistance through each step. No need to take the same information into another person to have them charge you five times the amount of the Turbo Tax software.
For the fifth year in a row....thank you Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My 2013 TurboTax filing experience!

I've used TurboTax for many years. I'm always extremely pleased with how easy it is to use, guide me through all my information, review it, e-file it, etc.
Great product! Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Extremely easy! No missed information or suggestions. The software seems to get better every year.
What's not so great: None I can think of...

Poor Print Capability

I am trying to print my return for mailing and all I get is a review copy that has "Do Not File" over every page. This has been very frustrating.
What's great about it: Easy to prepare.
What's not so great: Very poor print capability

Easy to Use

What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes filing taxes very easy
What's not so great: I wish Turbo Tax would remember that I am an Advantage subscriber already.

too many glitches

It made me override the entire form 8829 and part of schedule C until it was filled out the way I needed it then the overrides were no longer required. I had the same problem with my dependent college student's American Opportunity Credit until it was complete. TurboTax seems to have dropped the ball this year and not lived up to their usual reputation.
What's great about it: mostly works
What's not so great: home office and american opportunity has glitches

SO EASY

I have been using turbo tax for many years. What an easy way to do taxes. They ask all the right questions, and do not miss any deductions. Can use for the whole family. I love it. i used to pay someone to do my taxes. This is so much better and cost much less, takes less time.
What's great about it: turbo tax is so fast and easy, I love it
What's not so great: None that I can think of
