Rocked My Refund

Have the screens stay where you are currently entering a group. Or have the screen work from the top instead of the bottom. All this scrolling to get to the bottom of screen is a waste of time.
What's great about it: Very good step by step.
What's not so great: Have the screens STAY where you are, Instead of having to scroll back down to the bottom of the screen to pickup,

Turbo tax is a great product for the typical filer. I have used it for years and appreciate that W2 data is uploaded from employers, past income data and deductions are there from the year before. It takes away a lot of the work of researching things on the IRS website. I did my taxes in a few hours, and it would have taken less time had I done the prep work with gathering things from past years and pulled my bank documents sooner.
What's great about it: asks you all the questions as you go so you won't miss anything
What's not so great: doesn't explain forms and exceptions to income

What's great about it: Federal and state in 1-1/2 hours

Another easy tax preparation thanks to Turbo Tax

In the past I'd prepare my taxes manually then pay a rather large fee to have them "reviewed" and electronically filed. Turbo tax does all that for you and you never have to leave your house.
(Perfect for the shut in, or for members of any "most wanted group").

Highly recommended for anyone that has a brain and the ability to answer questions. Plus it has pretty colors.
What's great about it: Step by step Q&A format ensures thorough review of tax situation.
What's not so great: Still won't provide me a time machine (just kidding, no cons)

My 2 cents Deluxe Version

I've been using the Deluxe version of Turbo Tax for over 15 years. Although a few past years were a bit "rocky", this year's program reminded me a great deal of my first year's experience wherein the process went like clockwork.; fast, easy and no curve balls.
My taxes were fairly simple. However, I am not so sure about its handling of more complex issues like tax exempt bonds. I will reserve comment on that matter once I complete another set of taxes on the Premier version 2013. Stay tuned...
What's great about it: User friendly, Fast, easy and Straight forward.
What's not so great: None for the Deluxe Version

My finances are pretty simple, so Turbo Tax Deluxe is perfect for my taxes. Prepared my own for several years using Deluxe, saves the money of an accountant, do it at my own convenience. Fits my schedule, my financial and tax situation, and my budget better than anything else.
What's great about it: Ease of use and time it takes
What's not so great: May be complicated or time consuming for more intricate returns
