Great Federal, MS State Lacking

I am an accountant at a CPA firm, but I have used TurboTax for many years (since 1998?), and I will continue to stick with TT over our professional software at the firm. The data input is easy and the calculations are accurate (I've compared TT to my firm's software ;). The federal return is spot-on. The Mississippi state return is a little disappointing due to the lack of an e-file version of the form that calculates your underpayment penalty, and the inability to have your tax due auto-drafted from your bank account on April 15. This could be due to some Mississippi Dept of Revenue restrictions on TT, although our firm's professional software does provide e-file & auto-draft. All said, TurboTax is still an outstanding tax program for almost anyone to file their own taxes, and it's a lot more affordable than a CPA!
What's great about it: Federal return was thorough & accurate
What's not so great: Mississippi state return lacked key form

TurboTax Does All the Math

Since age 14, I have been preparing my own income tax returns, including all calculations. At age 78, I still do them, but for the past 25 years or so, I've enjoyed the assistance of TurboTax. It's been a pleasure to let the software do the math. The product is truly helpful.
What's great about it: Enables taxpayers to complete their own returns.
What's not so great: Still, it's time consuming, and there are indeed some confusing sections.

Not Happy

I constantly get error at Review > Analysis. I checked several times but the software did not flag where the problem is and I did not find any problem.
Intuite need to fix this. I have a 0 return.

TurboTax makes my tax prep a quick, easy process. I've always prepared my own tax return; this product makes it a lot easier, faster, and takes the guesswork out of interpreting the often contorted IRS instructions we've all read for so many years. Importing the previous year's return makes it even more efficient.
What's great about it: Fast & furious
What's not so great: Why the charge for the state e-filing?

Turbo-tax has been my go to for the last few years! It allows me to stop and restart when I want. Vs going to a tax place you must have all doc. ready to go before going in and, then wait your turn. I have many different deductions that take a bit of calculating and this program has made this job so much simpler!

Very easy software to navigate through. Great links provided for clarification. Streamlined e-filing. Very inexpensive compared to brick and mortar Tax Services.
What's great about it: Very Easy to Use
What's not so great: Initial load failed and then locked up my computer
