Easy Breezy!!!

Great software. Use it every year to file my taxes...
What's great about it: Easy to follow and easy to find answers to questions.
What's not so great: None...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Filing My Taxes

I have used Turbo Tax the last several years and find it has all the information I need to file my taxes. Sometimes there is more information to go through than I need but overall Turbo Tax's process should cover what each individual needs. I like the way the process asks me questions at each step so I know I am doing things right. I like having the comparison of the current year to the previous one. E-filing is easy and quick.
What's great about it: I like the step by step process of Turbo Tax.
What's not so great: Sometimes the information is more detailed than I need.

Took care of me!

This is my 4th year filing with TurboTax... I always enter the process feeling stressed (who doesn't) and somewhat afraid of what the results will be. Turbo Tax feels like a wise, caring uncle guiding me through the process.
What's great about it: Made filing approachable and light
What's not so great: none at all

Turbo Tax, easy, simple, speedy? Not so fast.
The program was easy and speedy, but simple - only one complaint here. The Head of Household filing status took some persistence, and I had to run through it several times before the right filing status finally appeared.

As for the rest, it was great. The "Its Deductible" link was great. Easy to get all of those contributions entered and calculated.
And the e-filing feature was nice as well.

Easy and simple

For the most part, using Turbo Tax was simple and easy. Everything is explained and easy to understand - even for me, the least math or tax understanding person around! I completed it while i was babysitting my 4 year old twin grandsons.
There were some tax forms that needed updating and this part was a little confusing. It simply took closing out of everything and then when I reopened the site, the forms automatically uploaded so the taxes could be filed. However, I found that out my trial and error - it was not explained very well. But the whole process is very easy!

What's great about it: Easy - everything is explained and you can look up the forms.

returning turbo tx customer

Paid for an extra state filing and can't seem to get a refund. The return was not able to filed electronically and I found that out right away when I transmitted. There should be a catch so that the fee doesn't go through until filed.
What's great about it: fast and easy
What's not so great: no ability to check and adjust w-4 allowances for 2014

TurboTax Is Easy, Tax Laws Are Complicated.

I have used TurboTax for many, many years and have experienced the improvements made each year. The tax laws are complicated, but for me, and the many years of doing taxes, this is pretty straight forward. I don't have too much that's new.
What's great about it: The interview guides you through the process making it easier.
What's not so great: Does not alphabetize the list of charities from the prior year.
