Turbotax Rocks!

Love turbotax and the customer service support!!!! Representative was patient, spoke clear English, and was able to help me through my problem even though it took almost an hour!!!! Thank you so much!! I'll be back next year!!

Overall very useful and easy to follow. Couple of comments. In the Education section no need to have all the information entered and then be told you don't qualify based on income. Could have saved that time with an upfront "Don't bother - you don't qualify". Same for my daughters return. No need to fill in all the foreign tax information or deductions if she is already getting back everything she paid in. Should build some edits in to tell people not to waste time in areas that do not impact the $ and are not required to be completed.
Final comment - no hot print capability. Wanted to print a screen and couldn't figure out how and wanted to eliminate the estimated tax vouchers from printing and couldn't figure out how to do it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Still The Way To Go

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. It is a life saver and saves me many hours over doing my taxes by hand. My firm's accountant admits that he uses it for his clients, it's that good. The program remains intuitive, straight-forward and a true killer app that's well worth the money.
What's great about it: Easy to use, reasonably quick, very thorough
What's not so great: Could use better explanations of non-resident filing status for NY

We Love Turbo Tax

I like to get back all we deserve, but I don't want Uncle Sam to have to much of my money to spend for the year. It is our money and we need every dime of it!! Turbo tax makes that happen for us.

Hard Year for tax filing, but TT made it bearable!

Turbo Tax has been a steady partner of our family since the first year I had a PC. It takes me through the interview just as a personal accountant would and lets me stop and start the process as often as I need to. If I can't find a piece of information, I just stop till I locate it, and TT doesn't have a clock going on how much time it takes, or how many forms are needed to complete my return. For someone that doesn't own a small business, my family's return is quite complex, and TT handles it with ease. It readily answers all the questions I have about how to handle particular details. GREAT Experience! Thanks TT for consistently being there year after year!!
What's great about it: Leads you through the tough items, helps with key decisions on data entry!
What's not so great: Having to pay income taxes at all....

best tax program

I have been using turbo tax since 2010 when I realized I was paying too much for tax preparations for my wife and I, our son and daughter. Returns have been thorough and complete without any difficulties and even when including the e filing fees for all 4 returns, it is still less than I was paying a tax preparer to do taxes. The importance of a good tax return comes down to 2 things: good record keeping of all your tax deductions throughout the year in an itemized list, and turbo tax. You keep the accurate documentable records of deductions and turbo tax maximizes your return for you.
What's great about it: quick n easy
What's not so great: can't think of any

Great Product!

This product is very easy to use- saves loads of time and seems to be thorough- I recommend it!
What's great about it: step by step process, fairly easy to go back to previoius section, can save and restart at any time
What's not so great: does not show cost to e-file state very small print, does not provide the best instructions for not e-filing state
