its easy to use but trying to print at end it only gives you two options my default is word pad and I can't read it, it should let me print to any word processing besides a PDF. Also the money I had to pay at the end was a surprise and it should be stated up front that you have to pay for e filing.
What's great about it: easy step by step
What's not so great: have to pay extra money for e file at end

First Time in 5 years that I've had a problem

I was prompted to buy the cd deluxe version to create a dummy copy for my Minnesota return. After I did so, It turned out that it wasn't necessary because my Federal AGI did not change and nothing on the Schedule M1NC applied to us. The online version even asked the right questions to verify whether I needed to make an adjustment to my AGI. I answered no to the questions how ever I was still prompted to make this dummy copy and I feel that this could have been avoided. It was a huge inconvenience to stop doing my taxes and have to go buy the cd version.
What's great about it: Mostly everything
What's not so great: had to go buy cd version to create dummy copy

Lost In TTax-Land

TurboTax started quite nicely. It asked for a ton of updates on the day that it was installed. This was expected...each day thereafter there were more updates; however, program still felt and acted the same after the early on updates. However, on or around March 3 or 4, all things went South. It wouldn't keep track of where I was. I lost the ability to manually tune the data on a form. Raw forms, themselves, were no longer available. When I finished Fed & State returns...program said "NO ERRORS:, but when I "efiled" I got an error message that the Fed Return was rejected. It gave the "erroring form/step no., BUT one cannot access it directly to "fix" the problem. I had to kind of jury-rig it to work.
What's great about it: Last update 3/04 Broke Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Back and forth we go..no end in site..no power tools
