Turbo Tax actually makes doing taxes easy! I can keep my information organized throughout the year and then just enter it as the program walks me through each step. If I have a question as to why I don't qualify for something I can usually find the well-written, easy-to-understand answer in just one click.
I've been using TurboTax now for about 9 years and can't do it any other way!

What's great about it: transfer of prior year info, the help feature, review and assessment at the end before I file.
What's not so great: this year I used the software instead of online and transferring info wasn't as easy as expected.

Easy to use

Overall, I like the turbotax product very much. I paid to have my taxes done years ago and turbotax saves a lot of money on tax prep fees. The guidance is quite good and the hints are useful.
What's great about it: Helpful hints, straight forward
What's not so great: time consuming to go through everything
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I work in a federal IT office and I hold out turbo tax to our developers as the benchmark by which to compare their work.
What's great about it: turbotax is the standard by which i judge app development at work

Wish State e-file was free

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years. It's easy to follow the steps. I wish it would include free e-file for a state return.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to follow
What's not so great: State e-file is not free

Great Software

The software is easy to use. Just follow directions and have all receipts, 1099's, W2's, etc.
I have used this software for 10 years - no issues thus far.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Easy to change incorrect data. E-file.
What's not so great: None.

I use my car for a business that I have and for a salaried position that I have and for a rental property. It was tedious having to enter Gas,Oil,Tires,Maintainence,Insurance ,Year End and Beginning Mileage. Why not start with 1 autoexpense worksheet and use those total figures. Senseless to have to enter info 3x

I find Turbo tax easy to use and easy to jump from section to section or just follow the order set by the program.

Quick and Easy

Used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and love it!
What's great about it: Covered all of the bases quickly and concisely.
What's not so great: Too long to get updates completed.
