Last years version was better. It automatically offered the option look up documents and link them to the tax return process.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Can't Transfer Tax Data From Last Year

In the Turbo Tax Support section under "Find Your Tax Data File in Windows," it tells how to FIND your data, which I had already found, but I could not figure out how to get the data to IMPORT into my current year tax filing. Then I finally saw this: "Please note that we're unable to retrieve tax returns that were prepared in Turbo Tax CD/download software because your data is stored locally, on your hard drive. E-filing does not keep copies of your return on our servers." I think you should make this clear right up front so people won't waste time trying to figure out how to import last year's data if they purchased a Turbo Tax CD and downloaded the software.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is very easy to understand.
What's not so great: Was unable to import my Turbo Tax data from last year.

I love Turbotax

Turbo tax saves me money on tax preparation fees. I always use Turbotax Deluxe and it is very easy to use. Very professional. I like to feel in control of filing my taxes each year and Turbotax makes it possible.
What's great about it: Can file taxes with a breeze!
What's not so great: Charges extra to e-file state return

Turbo Tax

I've used Turbo Tax for at least three years prior to this and had excellent results. However, this 2013 version was not as good.. felt like it was written or directed by someone that didn't stop to check the navigation and explanations from the user perspective... some clicks unexpectedly made you start all over again... explanations did not read as well as in the past..
What's great about it: detailed, covers everything, laymans terms
What's not so great: occasionally contradicts itself

Great software that makes filing Taxes joyful

Turbo Tax is easiest software i have ever used to file taxes. I can done my taxed in one hour or less that includes itemized deductions, and stocks.
What's great about it: Easy and step by step instruction
