Makes filing easy

I've been using Turbo Tax to file my tax returns for more years than I can remember ... and will continue doing so.
What's great about it: Does most of the work for you
What's not so great: None that I can think of

TurboTax Rocks!

Turbo Tax is very easy to use. You feel as if a "real" person is leading you through it. You can't make any mistakes. It takes you right through and reviews at every turn. You can go back to check and make any changes you might need to make.
What's great about it: Easy, Fast, Convenient, AND Affordable
What's not so great: Absolutely no cons

Taxes made easy with TT

I've used Turbo Tax for several years and each time I am impressed that someone smart was looking after my tax issues and not like my old tax guy, just pushing to get to the next client.
What's great about it: Quick and accurate info gave me confidence it was correct
What's not so great: Wanted to bounce back to things in editing quicker and direct to item
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Solid product, still a few confusing sections

I sometimes receive small payments for book reviews or an honorarium. I may have some small royalty payments in the future. Turbo Tax isn't great at prompting on these kinds of income.
What's great about it: Transfer of previous year, importing information
What's not so great: The work in progress screens and attempts to get you to buy upgraded products

Seriously. I have used Turbo Tax for eight years and love the program. It is very thorough and finds deductions I overlook.

Continues to be a solid product

Been using this product for over 10 years and it doesn't disappoint. Love the forms mode which allows you to actually see where numbers are going and why. The online support has really been progressing in recent years. Any questions I end up having, have already been asked and answered on the forums.
Some improvements I'd like to see...
Better naming of files. For some reason, I've been married filing jointly for 5 years, but all of the pdf filenames TurboTax generates still come up as "Form 1040 Individual". And if I print a pdf with the state, it doesn't indicate that in the file names either.
Very minor gripe for an excellent product.
What's great about it: Detailed, Helpful, Flexible, Secure, Reliable
What's not so great: Taxes are hard, Misunderstanding or Answering a question wrong can get you into trouble
