The New Turbo Tax

The State and School District returns were stamped with, DO NOT FILE, FORM NOT FINAL. No explanation was given as to why this occurred or what to do about it. If updates do not correct this issue, I will find a different product to use next year. I have always been happy with Turbo Tax and hope that does not happen. I am too old to retrain.
What's great about it: Used for several years so familiar with product.
What's not so great: Unuseable copies of State and School District returns.

My 1st year with TurboTax

I have been using a free software product for the last 5-6 years. For 2013 I had a far more complicated tax return due to the passing of my Mother in 2012 and the subsequent inheritance(s) received throughout 2013. TurboTax not only made it simple, it made me laugh at several points along the way...especially when it offered condolences on my Mother's passing. The fact that 2014 looks to be much simpler notwithstanding, I intend to stay with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Walked me thru every area of the return---which was far more complex for 2013-- step by step
What's not so great: Had to pay for the software (for the first time)

Awesome Experience

This year was the first year I didn't stress for months over doing my taxes. I got the biggest refund I've gotten in years, and TurboTax found deductions my accountant never took before. I actually felt empowered using the program, and not at the IRS' mercy :) I will recommend TurboTax to everyone I know!!! Oh and let's not forget the money I saved by not using a tax preparer !!
What's great about it: I loved that you walked me through every step of the way, without being confusing
What's not so great: I don't have any cons

Turbo Tax

I found this year's Turbo Tax faster, easier, accurate, fair pricing and with an affordable protection package if audited. I would highly recommend this program to family and friends!
What's great about it: Easy, fast, accurate, quick, protected, fair price

Excellent product

This is my 3rd year using Turbo Tax. I cannot go wrong using this product. It has help me get my biggest refund I am entitle too. Very happy with Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: easy to use, checks for errors, easy to download
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TRUSTWORTHY, EASY, ACCURATE

This is the best program for individual taxes for almost every usual circumstance. The set up is so clear and easy, there are explanations everywhere if you need them. They tell you everything you need to have to complete the taxes. I used to spend a couple of days trying to sort through the tax forms and instructions and codes, and was always so confused as to whether something pertained to me or not. This program sorts that out rapidly so I completed my taxes in about 45 minutes from start to electronic filing, and I am CONFIDENT that they are accurate. Have used this program many years and they keep getting better. Worth every penny!!!
What's great about it: THOROUGH, EASY TO UNDERSTAND, EASY TO FILE, BEAUTIFUL LAYOUT

good refund

Good but needs more clarification on HSA / HDHP. When going to other parts in computer, the TurboTax image last displayed becomes unclear until continuing on tax info.
What's great about it: took info from last year's return
What's not so great: not clear on the HSA account.... or is it HDHP

Never do taxes without it!

I have been using TurboTax since it was first introduced. I love it! I never have to look at a tax form, just answer questions from the forms that have been sent to me. It transfers all of last years data to the current years forms which cuts out so much work. It has covered every eventuality, even complicated Social Security stuff, with ease. I use TurboTax with complete peace of mind.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions and help when you need it
What's not so great: Can't think of any
