Miss former features -- Support lacking

Went crazy trying to figure out how to delete certain forms imported from last yeat but no longer applicable. Restore the chat & phone support that were provided in previous years.
Scroll wheel works the reverse of every other app. Annoying.
What's great about it: Cheaper than an accountant, but a pain in the butt!
What's not so great: No chat with expert. No phone support.

Easy to Use!

Very user friendly. Walks you through the whole tax prep process. Lots of on-line help and explanations to ensure you're getting maximum refund possible.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything needed - piece of cake.
What's not so great: Had to manually update all forms and program prior to filing. Not difficult but thought it should be automated.

2013 TurboTax Deluxe

Somehow, entering the information from my investment transactions did not go as smoothly this year as in previous years. It was not quite as easy to compare the TurboTax input to my paperwork as it has been in the past. It would be nice to be able to re-order input lines (so I could insert a missed transaction, and keep them in the same order, for ease of checking). I like that information from last year's return is automatically transferred, as this reduces the possibility of errors.
What's great about it: Guided along the way, easy to stop and pick up at a later time.
What's not so great: This year's software did not automatically check for updates.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Straight forward, audit double checks and hassle free
What's not so great: After declaring I had no children, I kept getting asked if I qualify for the education benefits for my non-existent kids

Notify users whether state returns can be e-filed before charging the state e-filing fee.
What's not so great: I was charged a state e-filing fee before being notified the state return could not be e-filed.

Felt like Labor Pains...the Return not Turbo Tax

Exactly as stated above...an overall level of security emotional and arithmetical provided by the rep of the company. However, in case I missed the info, I was not able to return to a specific page. Nor was I able (probably operator error, however I was a business major) to exit without the security that my work had been saved. Only an "Exit" in the drop down menu and "Save" first but no acknowledgement that the work had been saved. Have used it for 4 years without having to go to an accountant. Cheers!Turbo Tax.
