My 2013 tax return experience

Despite not having used TurboTax last year, I was able to fill in the basic information needed and quickly completed my 2013 Federal and State taxes quickly, using TurboTax 2013. The step-by-step prompts and form review mode helped the process go smoothly. The Audit Defense gives me piece of mind if I have to deal with the IRS.
What's great about it: Quickly completed my Federal and State returns!
What's not so great: Employer and Bank info could not be automatically accessed.

Finding the tax options

Turbo Tax was introduced about 30 years ago. I've used it every year since with confidence and accuracy. You still have to report what must be reported, but the program will put it where it needs to go.
What's great about it: Allows for reviewing varying reporting options
What's not so great: Still costs to file state return: Probably a condition of the state.

I have used TurboTax for about 5 years now. It is quick, easy to use, and a painless process.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy
What's not so great: Trouble with Updates
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy as always!

I've used Turbo Tax for many years. Each year it just seems to get easier. I love the feeling of confidence that it is covering everything required and I am not missing something critical that is needed, which might have happened if I had done the return manually.
What's great about it: Confident that I wasn't missing anything on my return
What's not so great: The "help" answers weren't as clear as I would have liked.

I have been a customer and user of your systems sense 1996 and don't appreciate or like the idea that you set up a third level to support stock activity. Previous versions supported this activity excellent with your two versions. I know the government makes changes yearly but that's life.
What's great about it: Ease of input

paid for efile but could not exile but you process payment on my credit card no way to go back and cancel the order, better off filing by mail

Opted not to pay an accountant this year.

First year we did not use an accountant. Refund was biggest ever and the audit risk meter showed very low. Very easy to use and understand.
