Solid, Clear

The ability to carryforward information from previous years is a time saver. I also appreciate being able to download info on W-2's and bank accounts.
What's great about it: Transfer or prior years' info.; reminds me of everything.

Disappointing

The state return prep (Maryland and Virginia) were very questionable regarding K-1 income, bond questions, exemption questions, etc. It requires knowledge on the part of the user that your advertising fails to mention. when I researched the topic your explanation just repeated the IRS language.....not much help for a layman. I also found the state prep hard to navigate and get to the year to year comparison page directly. that was a hassle when trying to insert information from one return for the prep of the other. Your software does not transfer key information apparently.
What's great about it: Federal is pretty good
What's not so great: States are poor

I have been a user of Turbo Tax since 1991 and have never had any problem filing my tax returns.
What's great about it: Easy transfer of previous years data

We have been using this for many years. It works!
What's great about it: It does the job and is intuitive to use.
What's not so great: Nothing really, big applications can get confusing on occasion.

The program answers all questions. Just click yes, no, continue. Fill in the number and it just that simple.
I have used turbo tax for over 10 years and only once did i try any other tax system. Boy that year was a hassle. But now I will never use anything else. Love, Love, Turbo Tax
