2013 Income Tax Review

Had trouble getting connected to the Internet. Had to be the software since I was connected to the Internet. Had to close and restart severa times to get connected. Could not find where I could review the W-2 data that I originally entered. Wanted to check what made up the number for state & local withholding as it seemed too high on Schedule A. No details were provided in this category.
What's great about it: Detailed informtation and last years information to compare
What's not so great: Takes a lot of time

I did my taxes in an afternoon. I always print them for filling as I have had a problem on the IRS side with the electronic. Turbo Tax preformed very well and I am very happy with the result.
What's great about it: Straight forward
What's not so great: Printing forms a little difficult to follow

Tax help for dummies

Easy, took two hours. Did it Saturday morning and done before lunch. Remember in the past that I would be working on it all week.
What's great about it: easy, walks through every step, picks up your mistakes
What's not so great: nothing

Problem Printing

Every time I click on "Print" I get a box that only shows "Save as PDF" which I did, or "Preview" which I did or "Cancel" which I did and NO PRINT button to click. I still do NOT have a copy of my return which I have been able to get every year I have used turbo-tax. This will be my last year to use this product. HOW AM I GOING TO GET MY PRINTED COPIES? Very, very upset!!!!!
What's great about it: Everything worked fine until I needed to print
What's not so great: The program will not let me print, even the state copy I must print to file.

Easy but too many sales pitches

Been using turbo tax for years, easy to use, carries over last years info. I usually have stock sales, business expenses and a K-1, deluxe handles it all.
What's great about it: easy to use, deluxe handled stocks and K-1's no problem
What's not so great: always pushing the more expensive version and extra's
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Easy to follow
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

What a pain!

TT won't let me file electronically. For the second year in a row.
I have no idea why. I followed all the instructions and installed an update I hadn't installed before. Grrr.
And now, TT is fussing about my nickname.
There has to be another way.
