Easy to use, easy to e-file, nice that my brokerage company can transfer data. State return e-file should be included at no cost.
What's great about it: Easy to read, easy to transfer banking or other info into system
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing over what is a private or public pension. No free state retrun.

I will be using it again next year, the transport information works well and I've become familiar with the program quirks. Lets hope the user interface isn't radically altered! Still extremely slow on startups and updates.
What's great about it: Accurate
What's not so great: Still had confusion on some entries, dislike PDF as the default format for saving.

Should have a choice for 1099R reporting of defined benefit that does not require an answer for MRD.
What's great about it: Mostly easy to use
What's not so great: 1099R questions don't have defined benefit question

Unless I completely overlooked it, nowhere does a date indicate when the taxes were e-filed and accepted for both federal and state returns. As a consequence, I could nor refer to it in my discussions with the state tax representative when attempting to sort out why my tax refuned check is still being wthheld for over a month although when e-filing it shouild take approximately a week. Federal return took place as advertised Further the use of any nickname is ,with certainty, bound to be repetitive and to recycle through such a process iseeking an unused fabricated name is both counterproductive and inane
What's not so great: E-File acceptance date/Use of nickname

One form for NYC that was used the previous year that we did not have to use this year came out on the screen as an error and it asked to fill it but we did not need it this year. We had problem to therefore delete that uneeded form, but we did it finally.
What's great about it: Good
What's not so great: Also good
