After having an accountant do my taxes; TurboTax got the same result at a fraction of the cost.

Wow, I actually finished in one sitting, I've been doing my own taxes for years, and have never finished with this much confidence.
I went in looking for a different brand, and really only picked Turbo Tax because it was the only tax software they had, should have bought a lotto ticket too.

poor performance this year

Updater was stuck and prevented me from filing until I manually downloaded a patch. Very annoying. It will cause me to look around for another program next year.
The same type of mysterious delay caused an issue on a college tuition worksheet. The worksheet was arcane and did not really help me with the mistakes it said that I had made

I have prepared taxes for years & now all I use is Turbo Tax! Just love it! Highly recommend! Have used every year now for at least the last 12 years!

fastest prep ever

I was happy to use TurboTax again this year. I like seeing the computation as you add data and figures. It was the fastest that I have ever done a tax return. I even itemized my deductions and saved even more than I thought. I will be using it again next year. Thanks!
What's great about it: compare to last years easily, fast and easy to fill in
What's not so great: having to scroll down each time I finished a section and it returned to the list page.

Everything good except states one free state refund and there is not a free state refund! EVERY YEAR!

The state sales tax deduction was not dealt with in the first time through the questions, I had to go back in and find where I could enter that info. When your taxpayer is from Washington State, says the lived there exclusively, says they worked there exclusively, the program should A) go the state sales tax deduction, and B) quit trying to take me to state income tax filing. It got annoying.
What's great about it: Consistent look and feel.
What's not so great: I live in Washington State, I have only worked in Washington State. Quit trying to take me to the state filing page.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
