On the schedule D someone needs to let the IRS know that when entering dates for for how long we owne da stock consideration needs to guven to for those that reinvest the dividends. I sold some stock that I had dividend reinvestment and it was painful because thses stocks are purchased in fraction and 4 times a year. There's only one date allowed in the entry and you can't use "various" unless doing taxes by stubhy pencil. Although it didn't happen for me some could have a white was if sold shortly after pruchase. Hope you understand Other than that you've come a long way and I been using you since you first came on the market. feel free to contact me.

i tried to purchase Turbo Tax online but could not get an account. It kept saying I could not answer the security question but i know I did. I wanted to ask someone to go and reset my file. I don't believe i have ever bought TT online so I didnt understand why it had this bogus info on me.a help line would have solved it in a minute, but i just wound up buying the cd as in previous years.
What's great about it: ease of filing
What's not so great: need a help line

Great Product. It provides me with step by step instructions and lets me know instantly when I have omitted something on a particular screen. Calculations are guarantied correct which saves a lot of calculator time and insures no errors. I like the ability to look at a worksheet and see how the calculations were done. An overall great product..
What's great about it: Easy to use. Instructions are clear. I don't have to calculate.

Not all questions answered

I am a retired CSRS annuitant. When it comes to filling out the taxable amount from the value reported in Col. 1 of the 1099-R, no help is given! I had to deduct this amount myself. Then later was queried about the amount I entered as taxable income. Why should I have to do this????

Confused calculator!

Normally this product would have gotten a higher rating. This year the previous year's totals are not accurate...just not adding up.
What's great about it: Generally, a good product. Used for 9 years

I have been using Turbo Tax for years now. No matter how much I dread doing my taxes, once I get started its actually kind of fun to watch it (Turbo Tax) do the work. It has always done me right and I will continue to use Turbo Tax.
