2014-Another good TT year

For the last 10 years TT has made preparing and filing a breeze. I feel confident that I'm getting an accurate preparation of returns, and it sure is easy.
What's great about it: Very easy to prepare, update & file!
What's not so great: Printing for file resulted in multi-duplication, too many pages

Good Product that improves each year.

This is either my 13th or 14th year I've used Turbo Tax and they seem to improve it each year. The one thing that does bother me is when you have a problem, the first response seems to be that you need to upgrade to the next level of product. But if I have been using this for all these years, and it worked then, why do they push an upgrade? More money I'm thinking....
What's great about it: Step by step system is easy to follow. Deluxe downloaded version allows me to enter small business tax info.
What's not so great: Is not clear on how & what to enter for multiple Schedule K-1's.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Good but with caveats

This year's taxes were relatively easy. The only real problem arose from residing in West Virginia but having a job in Virginia (neighboring states - residence about 20 miles from job site). The instructions for this situation were confusing - we ended up filing a completely unnecessary state return for VA in order to complete my son's return. For my return, the system somehow generated a bogus "amended" return form - I was able to delete it and complete the return, but this should never have happened.
What's great about it: Relatively easy, progran walks you throuhg income and expense/deductions
What's not so great: Instructions for having income in one state while residing in another are not clear

My Turbo Tax experience

I enjoy using Turbo Tax each year. It is simple to use and very reasonable price wise....... I find that so far it has been able handle any tax situation I have needed it to....... Great program.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Very complete. Makes what once was a real pain a lot less of a pain

i've been using TurboTax for many years now and have always been highly satisfied. while the misc. charities input has been simplified it now lacks identity of the recipients.
the MRD questioning re: my traditional pension from Ford Motor was confusing as were the following screens. stating that these pension distributions not being MRD was "not common" forced a phone call to State Street. this was not 'user friendly'.

What's great about it: michigan return handled simultaneously, imported Janus 1099 info a help
