TT-Another Good Experience

Using TT is a superior alternative to taking the papers to someone who will charge 10 times more that the software costs. I have used TT for many years and it continues to get better each year. Please continue to improve the product without making it more difficult to use.
What's great about it: Prior Yr Imports are huge + the guided path makes a very complex task tollerable
What's not so great: Tax terms and concepts I do not know are frustrating but TT does a great job getting you online help.

Overall, I will continue to use Turbo-Tax again next year.
What's great about it: Have been using turbo-tax for many yaers because it makes the proccess easier and quicker.
What's not so great: The print options for mailing a return with my black & white printer gices me a gray copy only for mailing.

PEACE OF MIND WITH TURBO TAX INTUIT

The Turbo Tax Intuit program makes filing my returns easy, accurate, and quick.
I like being able to do the returns myself, rather than using a paid preparer. This way I thoroughly understand the process. I also save money by not paying someone else to do the returns.
It's easy to save the returns directly to my hard drive. This gives me ready access to the forms on my computer. That's another added bonus over using a paid preparer.
What's great about it: Inputting the required information was quick and easy. I appreciate the reviews for errors that ensure accurate filing.
What's not so great: There is nothing I did not like. What's not to like?

I've used Turbo-tax since it first came out. They continue to make it more user friendly each year.
I feel like I'm getting a third party direction on the tax law that has my best interest as its standard. I'm pretty confident I get the lowest tax cost balanced with the lowest chance of audit.

What's great about it: Cuts through a lot of the red tape!
What's not so great: It makes you wait to get the tax law requirement, sometimes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I bought a new computer and lost my records from previous years which was a not good. I thought I had transferred it but did not.

Fastest, most pleasurable communication I've ever had with the IRS, I stressed for months, didn't file till till 3/5/14 but rocked it in less than an hour...Loved it, see you next year.

great program

TurboTax remains one of the best programs for the money, I have used it for many years and it continues to be the best and easiest tax program available. Taxes at both the Federal and State level continue to increase in complexity and detail and it is impossible for the average tax payer to keep up with all the changes in tax law each year.
What's great about it: made easy work of my taxes and deductions
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
