Did pretty good

been using for quite some time and it's a life saver. before turbo tax, i did it myself and it was terrible. thank you intuit for turbo tax.

Easy to Use

I've always done my own taxes. Been using Turbo Tax for several years now and I can't tell you how much easier it is that trying to read and reread all those publications. It walks you thru everything step by step in plain English. And it's wonderful how it transfers all your personal information so you don't have to retype it (unless something changed).
What's great about it: Detailed. Walked thru step by step

great program

overall a great program. I can't imagine doing this myself. my state allows you to itemize some deductions even when you have to take the standard on your fed. last year the process was automatic. this year I had to calculate mine and the wife's seperately for the state. If I had just followed the prompts and hit continue I would have missed out on some major deductions. fortunately I hit edit just to be sure because the noted refund "$295 " seemed low. after putting my own info it turned out to be "$414" bit of a difference.
What's great about it: love the question process, that way I don't forget something important
What's not so great: no notice that I would have to put my itemized deducts in the state file myself. Oregon is a little different.

As always, TurboTax provides the best product. It is consistent and thorough. I am confident that the information is compatible with federal and state requirements. Their reputation is top-notch.
What's great about it: Detailed questionnaire interviews; deductions easy to document
