Quick for Experienced Users

The main part of Turbo Tax for the non-business side was pretty seamless and quick. However, using this as I have done in the past for Schedule C and SEP IRA info was much more difficult, and I had to hunt in within the forms view to even enter the information. It is almost like Intuit is making this more difficult so you will feel the need to upgrade to the higher version ($$). I only need basic Schedule C and the Deluxe version has been just fine in the past. Seemed almost misleading. Definitely should only be used for Bus income/expenses for experienced users and those already tax knowledgeable.
What's great about it: Quick method of entering and reviewing information
What's not so great: Bus part was more difficult than in past

I used the step by step method and it greatly enhanced my tax return amount. It helps to look at your cardholder's "yearly summary" to itemize.
What's great about it: Quick n Simple

An Outstanding Program

I have used Turbotax now for more than 10 years. It is a very user friendly application in which the programmers have thought through the questions and problems ordinary persons face when trying to understand the tax codes.
I am particularly satisfied with the manner in which the program automatically transfers data from year to year. Although I have never been audited, I am confident that I will have no problems if I am.

I like knowing what is going to be in the Turbo Tax Software. I usually use the Deluxe and it has been efficient, up to date, and have not had any problems for about 10 years.
What's great about it: Carries over previous year's personal info.
What's not so great: Processing fees

Five days to do taxes

For some reason the cost bases and purchase date for my employee stock purchase plan did not transfer (48 entries). My first attempt was to look at the forms. I thought the forms were open in a separate window and closing them caused be to lose four hours work. After redoing my earlier work, I returned to the forms and manually changed the 48 times three entries which took five hours. When I went to check the return, Turbo Tax told my that I could not file electronically with manually inserted data on the form. I went back and removed the manual inserts. Finally upon returning to the stock section, I noticed the second inner slide-bar and found the proper place to change the data.
What's great about it: Asks the right question
What's not so great: If you mess up entering a cost basis it can cost you days.
